Options for participation

  • Learn to sing the Halleluja Chorus!

    Requirements:

    You must have a ticket to attend the performance. You can sign up to sing after selecting your ticket type.

    Commit to learning the music - your perception of whether or not you can sing doesn’t matter! Just bring energy and enthusiasm. All are welcome.

    Commit to one rehearsal, and the performance itself.

  • If you can read music, or learn it reliably by ear, sing in tune and have time to commit to this project, you can apply to sing in the chorus.

    Requirements:

    You must have a ticket to attend the performance. You can sign up to sing after selecting your ticket type.

    Your ticket helps to cover the cost of providing a copy of the score, and paying the Director for rehearsal time, and saves a place for you to sit!

    Be a parishioner, or be a student/parent/teacher of local Catholic schools, or have a close association with St Dominic’s Parish, or live in the local area.

    Be able to hold a tune.

    Commit to learning your music.

    Commit to attending rehearsals (dates tbc, beginning in late September)..

    Attend the dress rehearsal on Thursday 11 December 6.45pm

    *Final participation in the performance is at the Director’s discretion.

  • Your generosity supports the participation of an instrumentalist. To sponsor an instrumentalist for all rehearsals and the performance, please consider becoming a Major Sponsor.

    Unless you wish to remain anonymous, your name will appear in the programme as a sponsor.

    Sponsorship of $200 includes two complimentary tickets to the performance.

    Parishioners may purchase a ticket anytime, by using the QR code on posters in the church, or published in the Parish bulletin.

    Ticket sales to the general public will open on 14 July 2025.
